Meet Tash

Entrepreneur, #1 Best-Selling author, mom and motivational speaker

Ayurveda says that you're put in your life and have the experiences you do because you choose them in order to find your Dharma (lifes purpose) It was during my early twenties that I discovered yoga, I was diagnosed with severe scoliosis in my teens and was looking for a way to help manage the pain. Growing up I always had a fascination with nature but the deeper I delved into my yoga practice I realised this on another level. I realised, through practice we can begin to see ourselves as part of an incredibly complex, yet utterly beautiful pattern of nature.

We can use our practice to reach deeper in to this human life. Once I realised the many benefits of a steady yoga practice I decided I wanted to share it with others. In 2016 I travelled to Goa, India and completed a month long intensive teacher training, it was during this time that I could fully immerse myself in to the spirituality of the practice. For me now, teaching yoga is a life long journey of continual learning, an honour and something that I try to offer with compassion and respect.

I am currently training to be an Ayurvedic health counsellor, Ayurveda is a sister science to yoga and is the worlds most ancient healing system. Focusing on lifestyle, nutrition, herb/plant power, meditation, massage and yoga as a way to heal your body and find balance.

My yoga classes are inspired by Ayurveda and the elements, I like to introduce flowing movement that evolves and adapts to the changing seasons enabling us to flow with and be in tune with nature’s elements, focusing on yoga philosophy, intuitive movement, conscious breath work (pranayama) moments of stillness and rest. Day to day our bodies and how we feel will change, therefore classes are designed to teach you to move in a way that feels natural, therefore suitable for anybody with the option for modifications and improvisations.

My Ayurvedic massage treatments consider mind, body, spirit which help to relieve stress, promote relaxation and release emotional blockages.

Testimonials

"Tash is amazing! I have been a long-standing yogi with Tash since her first yoga class in Winterbourne and I can honestly say we have never had two classes the same. Tash is clear in her instructions and always gives options to every yoga pose so that your practice is adapted to your own needs. During lockdown Tash has also been a godsend, being able to connect with my mat through a virtual platform has really helped me get through the uncertainty of each day. I just want to say thank you Tash for the love you put into every class you teach, you truly are wonderful"
